Are you a school, nursery, pre-school, childminder, out of school care provision or holiday club? I can help you to enhance and improve your early years practice and pedagogy.
I can prepare you for and support you through Ofsted inspections and quality improvement programmes. Supporting you to create enriching and exciting EYFS environments with a particular focus on nature and the outdoors. I can provide targeted continued professional development either online or in person in a number of areas including Ofsted, key person and attachment, brain development and well-being, schemas, two-year olds, enabling environments, forest childcare, chatty corners, observation, assessment and planning etc to name a few.
With over twenty years’ experience in the early years and having also been through many Ofsted inspections myself both as a nursery manager and more recently as a childminder, where I was graded outstanding on my first inspection. I have supported a range of providers through preparing for and improving practice both pre and post inspection.
Providing support, advice and consultancy in all areas of the EYFS to help educators and childcare providers excel. Whether you need creative advice to develop your outdoor or indoors learning environments or to cut down on paperwork in your organisation, assess children for their two-year checks or boost your observation, assessment and planning methods, Lizzie can help.
I can deliver a range of targeted and bespoke training courses to suit the needs of your staff teams. I can also offer individual training and coaching and peer support. This can be done through face to face delivery, online peer support, live webinars and online/live training workshops.
Blogs for early educators with a passion for the outdoors and forest school learning, letting nature give the nurture. Providing a space for sharing my resources, ideas and experiences of early childhood development and best practice in the early years. Within my own outstanding childminding business, I have been so privileged to watch as tribes of little explorers have grown, flourished and developed. With a focus on using the outdoor environment which supports their natural desires to investigate and ask questions about the world in which we live, I hope to share some of these experiences and ideas in my blogs.
