About Lizzie Noble

My name is Lizzie Noble and I have worked in early years and education for over 20 years. My career has spanned a number of early years provisions and sectors.  I started out as a Nursery Nurse and Nanny, then onto become a Deputy and a Manager for a Pre-school. I have worked within a Special Educational Needs team as a behaviour support assistant, alongside Educational Psychologists and SENCOs.

I was an Early Years Development Officer for a Local Authority for 7 years, where I supported a range of providers from childminders to schools to develop their quality of provision and ensure that they delivered a high-quality service and implemented the EYFS effectively.

Most recently in 2015 I started my own Forest Childcare Childminding business which was graded Outstanding at my first inspection in 2018. I do this part time alongside being a sleep consultant and working in a wonderful forest school nursery as a lead for creative woodland sessions for children and families under 5 and a training and development consultant.

I have travelled the world extensively and I been lucky enough to have also worked in early years in a range of countries including Africa, Australia and New York during my career.

I am also most importantly a mum to a dynamic and wondrous 5-year-old and enjoying the huge adventures that brings every day.

About Little Explorers Education

Following on from the success of little explorers childminding founded in 2015, I wanted to create a service that enabled me to share my experiences and develop an opportunity to build on current good early years practice and parenting styles to ensure we can continue to support our youngest generations in the healthiest way.

I have created a consultancy service that educators and parents alike could access to support you in your early years and parenting journeys.  With a focus on nature, enabling environments and the forest school approach.  I have a personal and professional approach to attachment parenting and can provide gentle sleep coaching.

My Degree in early education had a high focus on attachment theories and I have a keen interest in brain development and how having an awareness of neuroscience supports the healthy development of our youngest generations.

Please contact me for further information on how we could work together to develop an exciting and meaningful package for your early years provision or family.
